Myanmar has neither acknowledged the harm caused by the use of explosive weapons in populated areas (EWIPA) nor committed to action to prevent EWIPA use.

Myanmar was present at the Conference on the Protection of Civilians in Urban Warfare held in October 2019 in Vienna[1] but it did not issue any statement or endorse any joint statements on the topic.
