Rwanda has neither acknowledged the harm caused by the use of explosive weapons in populated areas (EWIPA) nor committed to action to prevent EWIPA use.

Statements

Rwanda participated in the Vienna Conference on the Protection of Civilians in Urban Warfare in October 2019,[1] but it did not issue any statement regarding the use of EWIPA.
